Doctor Who Advertising
Coming to all good retail stores by the year something billion or other...
Or near that.
Every time I saw this image (which I later found out is from the cover
of The Ark In Space VHS) I suddenly thought
of toothpaste adverts... I guess it's the colours, subliminal advertising.
So voila!

That Fourth Doctor is definitely a Yoyo Master! So naturally everyone
else would want to become one too and so we have this. The new "collect
'em" craze to beat all those wannabes (except Pogs, they were the
best and not because I'm being nostalgically biased, never). There does
actually appear to be an official Doctor Who yoyo though (I believe I
saw one once on a toys edition of The Antiques Roadshow), so there you
go!
You have to see Terror of the Zygons really
for this... I think it's a good story by the way, I'm just joking :)
